I have been teaching for twelve years-mostly in 3rd Grade. It has always been a dream and passion of mine to teach 1st grade. After several years of conversations with my principal, we finally had an opening and she slid me right into the position-yay!! After 10 years teaching third grade I simply needed a new challenge and change of pace!
I am almost done completing my Education Leadership degree specializing in Special Education to receive my second master's degree. Apparently, I just can't get away from school and learning :) Continuing education is always good in the teaching field!
At home I am a mother to identical twin boys and a step-mother to my husbands daughter. I love being "mommy" it is such a joy to raise children and have their undivided love and affection!
I am a dog lover, we have 3 dogs, but my favorite bread of all time are pugs! We have 2 and they are so busy and full of spunk. Check them out-The Fawn pug is Tino Bambino, the Black pug is Ember Rose and the Boston is Ava.
